I'm Aylah Iqbal. I work in Cybersecurity consulting full-time to pay the bills, but also love to write during my downtime.

When I was in my teens, I consistently wrote a blog and self-published a book of essays. Nothing career-altering ever came of these two projects, but it did instill a passion of writing in me, no matter what the topic is. This website is meant to be a forum where you all can read some of my writing, hear my tips on writing (even though I do not claim to be a professional by any means), see which books I've been loving recently, and read my thoughts on balancing writing with a full-time career.​
